FY 2026 H-1B Cap Initial Registration Period Opens on 03/07/2025
Please take note that the initial registration period for the fiscal year 2026 H-1B lottery will open at noon Eastern Time on March 7, 2025, and run through noon Eastern Time on March 24, 2025. During this period, prospective employers and their representatives may register their prospective employees for the H-1B cap lottery.

As in previous years, prospective employers must register each beneficiary (prospective employee) electronically using an online USCIS account and pay the $215 registration fee. USCIS intends to notify employers of the initial lottery results by March 31, 2025.
If your company plans to sponsor H-1B employees for fiscal year 2026, beginning on October 1, 2025, we strongly recommend that you begin to work with an experienced immigration attorney and prepare for the registration process now to ensure a smooth process.
